Ingredients
2 C plain, low-fat yogurt 1 tsp. lemon or orange extract
2 C pink grapefruit sections 1 C powdered sugar
1 tsp. grapefruit zest from rind
Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Pour
into Popsicle molds and freeze.

BBQ Pizza
BBQ Pizza
Summer may be ending, but BBQ season can keep going! You’ll be
amazed at the crispy crust and speedy results of a customized pizza
cooked on your BBQ. Your child will love to help knead the dough.
Ingredients
1 ball of whole wheat raw dough (found near the Deli dept.)
15 oz. pizza or marinara sauce
2 C shredded mozzarella cheese
½ C olive oil
Toppings of your choice – pepperoni, onions, pesto, chicken, etc.
Directions
1. Sprinkle the dough with flour and roll flat with a rolling pin.
2. Spread a thin layer of olive oil on both sides of the dough.
3. Preheat BBQ on medium low (350F).
4. Prepare all of your toppings and set them next to the BBQ.
5. Spray the BBQ with Pam or brush with olive oil (flames may
jump), and place the dough on the BBQ.
6. Let dough cook 5 minutes and flip.
7. Spread tomato sauce evenly and add remaining toppings.
8. Close grill and let cook 8-12 minutes. Enjoy!

1 pkg. (8 squares) Baker’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate
¼ tsp. Peppermint extract
1 sleeve Ritz crackers
1 peppermint candy cane (6 inches), crushed
Microwave chocolate in small bowl, as directed on pkg. Stir until completely melted. Blend in extract. Dip crackers in melted chocolate, completely coating crackers. Place on wax paper-covered baking sheet; sprinkle with candy.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes, or until chocolate is firm.

Mix thoroughly and drop by spoonful onto a long sheet
of wax paper. Work quickly as batter hardens fast.
Hint: lay out wax paper before cooking.

10 slices bread
3 cups milk
2 cups shredded cheese
3 cups sautéed vegetables (mushrooms, peppers, broccoli)
1 lb. sausage, cooked and chopped
2 T. flour
Break bread into pieces and place on greased 13x9 pan.
Sprinkle 1 cup cheese on bread. Add cooked sausage and
vegetables. Beat eggs with flour and milk and pour over
the ingredients in pan. Sprinkle on remaining cheese,
refrigerate over night and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
