This tart is as easy as pie!
1 folded refrigerated unbaked pie crust
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon shredded lemon peel
2 apples, peeled, cored and finely sliced
1/2 cup caramel apple dip or caramel ice cream topping
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup apple jelly
powdered sugar
Combine in bowl - sugar, cinnamon and lemon peel. Add apples and toss to coat. Unfold pie crust and place on cookie sheet. Spread caramel on crust to within 2 inches of edge. Place apple mixture over caramel and top with pecans. Fold sides of crust about 2 inches up and over apples. Bake 20 min. or until golden brown. Melt apple jelly over low heat then brush over entire tart and sift powdered sugar over, if desired.
